June 26th update.
The night trout bite has begun. The water is a balmy 66Degrees! about 8 degrees colder than normal for this time of year thanks to the cool wet spring we have had but it hasn't stopped the trout from starting their summer feeding habits. The last 2 trips out saw 12 Saturday night and 16 Sunday night. The day bite is the usual Wabblers and worm rig down about 20 feet. The pike are on the prowl and we have been taking them on the troll with silver and chartreuse spoons. The largemouth are in the weeds and fallen trees hitting soft plastics and the smallies are taking live bait in the open water. Finally we have temps. near 80 during the day so come and enjoy it!
See you soon!
