October 4th update
With water temp's finally in the mid to high 50's the smallmouth and pike are moving into their cold water haunts for the fall and winter. The action has picked up considerably in the last week and will only get better until ice up. Deep water humps and shoals are the ticket now. The trout bite is also improving with the fall temperatures cooling the water at night. Trolling with F5 Rapalas as usual in the fall is the ticket. Before you know it winter will be here and I can only hope for a long fall so we can keep fishing. See you soon!
